Frequently asked questions
Can I change tiers later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade from your account at any time. Upgrades apply immediately and are pro-rated; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
What happens to my devices and dashboards if I downgrade?
Your data is never deleted on downgrade. If you have more devices, brokers, or schedules than your new tier allows, the most recently edited ones stay active and the rest become read-only until you upgrade again.
How are payments processed?
On the web, payments are processed by Stripe. On Android, by Google Play. We never see or store your card details — that information stays with the payment processor.
Do you charge tax or VAT?
Tax is calculated and collected by the payment processor (Stripe on web, Google Play on Android) based on your billing location, where required by law.
Is there a free trial of paid tiers?
Not currently — but the Free tier lets you try IoT Parrot with up to 1 broker and 3 devices, no payment information required. If you decide to subscribe and aren't satisfied, our 14-day money-back guarantee covers your first paid subscription.
What's your refund policy?
